About the Artist

Pastel artist Amy Grant lives in the Philadelphia suburbs. She enjoys painting in pastel because it allows her to combine a love of drawing with a love of color. A Signature member of the Philadelphia Pastel Society, she exhibits her work in local and regional shows. She paints florals, still lifes and landscapes in pastel.

Amy graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in Art History. She started her career in NYC and later relocated to PA with her husband and children. Settling in Chester County, she continued studying art at the Wayne Art Center and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. This instruction opened doors to a career in art education. Amy has had the privilege of teaching art to children for over twenty years and now devotes her free time to practicing her own artwork.
